Eyes that burn like cigarettes:
Kinda feeling sick. Have bug bites. Hope I don't have West Nile. Skipped dinner with dear friends last night upon hearing that one (maybe both) of them have strep throat. Illness is trying to keep me down and I just can't have that, so I sucked down a smoothie with an "immune booster" (whatever that means) today to ward off the evil spirits.
Had to change my NYC/Philly plans. New schedule: Philly August 11-17. I'll probably be in NYC for like 4 hours on the 17th, so people who want to make out with me should let me know if they're free for lunch that day and I'll see what I can do.
I'm currently at LinuxWorld in San Francisco. There's a free show being sponsored by the EFF right now. If you like freedom (and not in the bullshit twisted way our current "leaders" have defined), you'll like them. Plus, they have hot people working their booth, and I like hot people.
Tomorrow, more Linux goodness all day long, then a flight home where I'll get to sleep in my own bed for six WHOLE nights before I leave again. My bed rules, especially when my cat is curled up and purring right next to my head. The only thing that would be better would be having the boy there with me. Even though he doesn't purr.
Update: I had to do some wonky deletion/re-adding stuff with this post, and so the comments aren't associated with the right post ID anymore. They're here instead. In other news, I really need to move this blog to Movable Type. Like, now.
