Dear Tony Pierce,
Thank you ever so much for the birthday present. You already know that I think you're a fabulous writer, and now I know you have great taste in music as well. I was very surprised by the unexpected birthday gift, and was even more surprised (and quite pleased, I might add) when I found out who the sender was. Thank you very much. The CD is in VERY heavy rotation at the moment.
