Beware:
I'm home again. More specifically, I've been home since Saturday night. I spent a good 17 hours traveling on Saturday, which was sort of brutal, but sort of okay too. I mean, the boarding and connecting processes sucked ass, but the actual flights were fine, and I read all of the copy of Cronenberg on Cronenberg I picked up in London on the first flight and half of The Devil in the White City on the second one. This includes a good 5 hours of sleep on the first flight and about 3 on the second. It's a good thing that riding in vehicles of whatever sort makes me sleepy. It had absolutely nothing to do with the wine service in first class.
So, this week is both Home Improvement Week and Prepare for Artwalk Week in the ol' Dirty Fez abode. I'm still officially off work all week so I'm painting and cleaning and eBaying like a motherfucker. Also, I'm working on some prints for the upcoming show. Fun! I'll be sure to harass all locals about coming up and visiting me next weekend, seeing as how I'll basically be just sitting in my living room watching baseball while unsuspecting suburbanites wander through my loft and look at photographs of insane asylums, Irish prisons, and suspensions. We won't even get into the urine paintings.
I'm off to find eBayable things and attempt to edit this post enough to be able to send it to my mother. Considering that I used the phrase, "If I were a walking vagina, I certainly would look quite a bit different," during my mother's day call to her, I'm pretty sure the editing will be minimal.
