Once again, it's been a month between posts. Oopsie. I've been all distracted. I'll try to make it up to you.

I spent part of my evening last night watching the Academy Awards. Unfortunately, I missed more than half of it, so I can't comment on anything before the Sidney Poitier tribute (which I thought was lovely, by the way). I can, however, comment on the parts I did see. I'll make it short.

1. Halle Berry is insane. Talented, but insane.
2. Sidney Poitier is one of the classiest mofos alive.
3. Julia Roberts looks like a swizzle stick.
4. Whoopi Goldberg is really funny.

That's it. That's my summary. It's an awards show, people. It doesn't need in-depth analysis, for chrissakes.

Moving on.

I think that part of the reason that I haven't updated here recently is that I can't decide on a topic. I glanced back at my entries, and realized that most of them have something to do with sex. I do realize that most people think about sex more often than they think about almost anything else, but there's plenty of sex all over the internet, and most of it has nice graphic pictures to go along with all the dorky commentary, whereas here there is only dorky commentary. So I've been trying to decide what else to talk about that will hold people's interest.

Most people who know me know that I have a lot of varied interests. I like technology, comic books, fine art, muscle cars, body modification, and religion, to name a few. I tend to jump from subject to subject. I'll be obsessed with studying some new programming language one week and be immersed in an ancient religious text the next. In addition to that, my particular quirky obsessions tend to be so obscure that I'm never really sure whether anyone else will be interested in them. And therein lies my dilemma. I could post something about this really odd piece of literature I've discovered or some random philosophical conversation I had two weeks ago, but would anyone give a rat's ass? Should I care? Does it really matter if anyone even reads what I write?

Jesus, I really need a job, or a book deadline, or something. I have too much free time on my hands if this is the crap I'm thinking about.

Well, until I think of something interesting to write about, go read amongst yourselves. Here, I'll give you some topics.

Brunching Shuttlecocks
Ftrain

Alphaworks

Enjoy.
